Is Stave free?+
It is. Creating an account, rating shows and following people costs nothing.
Can I rate a show before it happens?+
No. Rating only unlocks once the show ends — the app tells you the time from which you'll be able to rate it.
What if the show I went to isn't in the app?+
You add the event while writing the review: artist, date and venue. The app warns you if a similar show already exists so you don't create a duplicate.
Can I have a private profile?+
Yes. In settings you can close your profile, control who follows you, block users and report content. Every report is reviewed within 24 hours.
Does the app need my contacts?+
Only if you use "Find friends" — and even then your address book stays on the device: each contact becomes a SHA-256 hash before any check is made.
How do I delete my account?+
Right in the app settings, along with all associated data. If you've already uninstalled it, you can request deletion on the account deletion page.
About us
It all started after a show
Carnival, a Seu Jorge concert in Recife Antigo, Brazil. As the lights went down and the crowd started to scatter, Ingrid asked: “what if there was an app just to rate how insane that show was?”
It wouldn't leave anyone's head. Within a week it was already in development — before any business plan, just the urge to keep (and show off) how much that night was worth. Soon after came the first ideas for how to expand it, and a lot of what you see in Stave today started right there, in a conversation after a show.
No review before the show ends
No pre-hype, no paid reviews. If it's on Stave, it's from someone who was actually there.

A small team, no investor chasing vanity metrics. Every decision is made for the person who leaves a show wanting to tell someone about it.

Profiles can be private, and we never sell anyone's data. That simple.
